Fine Wines: More Than Muse

Two of the new fine wines in the line up are the More Than Muse Wines: the More Than Muse Pasa Robles Cab Sauvignon and the More Than Muse Rose.

What is a Muse?

A muse is someone who has a great influence on someone and therefore, becomes the focus and inspiration for that person’s creative work. Historically, the term muse was used by men to describe the women that they loved and therefore, made the subject of their work. Many artists, writers, poets and musicians say that their creative work is inspired by an individual whom they refer to as their muse.

The word muse originates from Greek mythology. The Greek gods Zeus and Mnemosyne had nine daughters called the Muses. The nine daughters were of one being in heart, spirit and thought and symbolized the arts and sciences. If the muses loved a man, then the man’s worries instantly disappeared. The man who was loved by the muses was considered to be more sacred than a holy man.

Fine Wines

More Than Muse Pasa Robles Cab Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is a red grape that was developed in the 17th century by an accidental breeding of two different grape plants, the Cabernet Franc grape plant and a white Sauvignon Blanc grape plant. It makes a full-bodied red wine with a medium level of acidity that is fantastic to drink with foods. As a matter of fact, in order to enjoy it thoroughly, you need to drink it with food.

Black pepper and spice set you up for intoxicating flavors of cocoa and plum in this opulent Cabernet Sauvignon . Pair it with a steak or a fine piece of chocolate.

More Than Muse Rose

Rose is a very light red wine and made from blue grapes. It may be the oldest type of wine. Its color comes from contact of the juice with the skins of the grapes, via a process called maceration.

This rose’ has floral notes that greet you with a rich salmon hue. Strawberry and papaya join with a hint of hibiscus. It needs to be served chilled and you do not need to have food with this wine.
